Over the Rainbow-Saturday 9

1) Do you ever fantasize about flying, beyond the rainbow or anywhere else?
Do you mean flapping my arms and flying?  Actually, I dream about it every so often.  I would like to fly into space

2) Do you think you have seen The Wizard of Oz more than 10 times?
Absolutely, I saw it in the movies when I was about 6 or 7, frequently they would re-release classics, like Disney does now.  Then I saw it on TV the once a year, when they started showing it in 1956. I will still watch it  for a bit if I see it on Turner Classics.

3) Which Wizard of Oz character would you most like to dress as for Halloween?
Glenda, the Good.

4) What will Trick or Treaters get when they come to your front door?
Probably a mini candy bar or two.

5) Did you ever TP a neighbor's house or indulge in other acts of Halloween vandalism as a kid? (Don't worry, that statute of limitations is up.)
Nope.

6) Who annoys you more -- people who never respond to your texts/emails, or those who never look up because they're always checking their texts/emails?
I don't text and only send a few e-mails that are usually returned if need be, my family and friends are always polite.  I guess it would be the folks who always have their eyes on their smart phones.

7) Who was the last person you hugged?
Mr Bankerchick, also I hugged the furbabies this morning.

8) What two colors do you like to wear together?
Blue and greens.

9) Did your alarm clock wake you up this fine Saturday morning?
No, being retired, we rarely set an alarm.  Mr BC sets an alarm at 10am to remind him to take his morning medicine.

Christmas Party:LONG Drive Home

This Week TN Chick selected LONG

Every year my boss throws a great party for all the managers (no significant others), and I never miss them, (the parties, not the spouses) because they are so much fun. This year was no exception. We had a LONG but fantastic year so it was a little more lavish than usual.

It was at a lovely restaurant in Beverly Hills, Il Cielo. When you look it up on the Net, it has very mixed reviews, they say the service is slow and dinner takes a LONG time. Our night was lovely! The service and food was great.
This year we had a DJ and everyone danced, even me. (that is not me) The roof opens up so you can see the sky and before too LONG they opened it so we could cool off after dancing I probably wouldn't have danced much if Mr BC was there, because he doesn't dance much, usually one slow dance is his limit. Even though past parties have been fun, I am usually home by 10:00 PM, because it was Drinks and horses'doors, Dinner, awards, skits, laughter and gifts, over! But I acually stayed there until 11:45 and was home after a LONG Drive from Beverly Hills to San Bernardino County.

I didn't win the centerpiece this year. Too bad because they were beautiful. But it was a LONG shot after all. It was a LONG evening, but a good time was had by all !

Photo Hunt: Row

Trying to: get your ducks in a row. Mr. BC took this at our local arboretum and this duck was having trouble getting in a row because she was too busy trying a paper plate on for a hat. She is having fun with the paper plate, but isn't a shame that someone tossed it there for the duck to find. So much for nature's beauty!
