Mr BC, though technically he is in bed.  It's 5:49 am.  The puppies are there too.

1) When was the last time that you got dressed up, or to borrow from Mr. Timberlake, "fixed up to the nines?"
DD1's wedding where I work my Spanx, stockings, wore a pink silk suit, had someone do my hair and makeup and looked divine! Since then, probably at a company event.

1) Have you ever been to the opera?

No, I am not sure I would enjoy a whole opera, they are hard to understand, and while I appreciate most music, I really prefer the tenors to the sopranos. Wait Les Miserables is an Opera in English so I guess so.

1. Who or what sleeps with you?

Mr Bankerchick and Totem our Jackawawa,, unless we have gas, then Totes is gone. Gwennie is under the bed snoring louder than Mr BC.

2. Last time you saw your high school best friend?

Over 20 years ago, but we just found each other on Facebook.
3. What do you do when you're sad? 

Mope around or worry.  I rarely cry any more unless it is due to a death.
4. What do you wear when you are relaxing around the house?

In the winter...sweats or flannel PJ bottoms.  The rest of the year, leggings or shorts. T-shirts all year long.5. What did you do immediately after high school?

I went to Pasadena City College, that is where I met Mr BC.
6. Is anyone on your bad side right now?

Oklahoma, North Carolina and Republicans.
7. What's the first thing you do when you get online?

Play the daily word game on Merriam-Webster, read the news, visit Eons.com.
8. What jewelry are you wearing?

None....it's 3 in the morning.
9. Post a current song that you like. (Or name it and tell us why you like it.)

I listen to music, but it isn't current. I like the oldies, classical, Macy Gray and Andrea Bocelli (or Bowl a'Chili as Mr BC calls him)

Think Geek- Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt

I am visiting in Santa Barbara and enjoying myself immensely.  I am here with my 2 Darling Daughters and my grandson Лука.  An amazing thing about  Лука is, that when he goes about his life, he has a sound track that is quite audible, Of course there are the usual "boy sounds" air planes flying, trains running and tooting, and moist raspberries slurping off his tongue. However he is very musical as well. Sometimes its the Wheels on the Bus, or You are my Sunshine, even the theme song from Jaws, other times it is a Serbian Ditty, or it is just sounds of humming, words not necessary. His life right now is a continuous narrative with music and singing and dancing, he is only quiet when he sleeps.

 

Лука's pleasure in music and song reminds me that we all have soundtracks that run in the background of our lives that include music and song that we love. Muzak of a different kind. My music is not just one song, it includes Classical, Rock and Roll and even Country.  Favorite singers are Pavoratti, Chuck Berry, or the Dixie Chicks. Mr Bankerchick's song is Devil with the Blue Dress On, mine is my grandson singing You are My Sunshine.
