Saturday 9

1. When do you feel that you arewere at your sexiest?
1968

2. What's your favorite magazine? Why?
Real Simple, It has a lot of great ideas for doing things really simply. I like the recipes.  I still like to read a magazine that I can turn the pages on.  Although, I found that when I see something I like I can put it on Pinterest from online and I can toss the magazine when I am finished.

3. What’s something you do more quickly than most people?
Forgive!
 4. When do you first remember using a computer?
1984, when I first went to work for the bank. I had been in banking for 5 years already and I thought it was amazing.
5. Who is the craziest person in your family?
My Auntie Millie, in a not so good way.
My DD2, in the very best way, she is a lot of fun.

6. What one thing are you craving today?
To get in the car and and go back to Missouri, I miss my dogs.  Mr BC is laid up with his knee and we can't pack the trailer.
7. What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Kindle books, especially the free ones! But I will take a good $3.99 or less book too.  I have had some good reads, Currently reading The Pallisiers, by Anthony Trollope. I think is was free, or at least real cheap.

8. What’s the part of your morning you least look forward to every day?
I don't have one...I am an early riser and love to get up in the morning and have the computer to myself. I guess if I have to choose.... having to get an early start on packing.

9. What are some rules you have for yourself that don’t really make much sense?
Any rules I have for myself make a lot of sense to me anyway, however, SIL is European, an engineer, and very fastidious.  Some of the rules he lives by only make sense to him. We follow them when we are at his house, but shake our heads in wonder and amusement.

A Different Bucket List

This week's prompt from Mama Kats:
Create a reverse bucket list that names the top ten things you NEVER want to do:
(Inspired by The Hairpin)

1.  Jump out of an airplane.

2.  Is there a pattern here? Bungee Jump. DD1 did it and told us later.

3.  Run for political office.

4.  Visit the Middle East, Israel or Egypt, I know there are interesting things to see, but I am scared. I don't count my trip to Turkey, as it is part of NATO and can be considered Asia plus it was part of a cruise package.

5.  Go to a wrestling, boxing, or roller derby match.

6.  Watch an execution on TV or anywhere else.

7.  Never watch anything about a Kardashian or a Housewife of any city.  I tune out when they are referred to as news.

8.  Run a Marathon, I know it is the "thing to do", however, I am not that Senior Citizen.

9.  Eat Sushi, I went to Japan and couldn't get pass the first bite and spit it out in my napkin. Never had it again.

10. Laser Surgery on my eyes, yes it's safe, but I'd worry that it would ruin MY eyesight. Glasses are just fine, thank you very much.

Sweet Valentine

I opened this Sweet Valentine in my e-mail this morning.  I am in Santa Barbara and we are staying in the Cabrillo Inn overlooking the ocean. We are visiting Лука and Caшa, it is a little crowded at their house with Baba visiting from Serbia, not enough bathrooms, so SIL offered to put us up here.
It is older and comfortable with a good continental breakfast and they were able to get a 3 day winter deal.  I would stay again.  I am off to the beach later this morning, then we will go see the boys.

He's Here!

I've been too busy to post or even be on the computer. DD1 was induced on Thursday and had my new grandson early Saturday. 7 lb 14 oz and 211/2 inches  His name is Caшa. (think Cyrillc) He is coming home today and the grandmas are excited, however, Лука, is only a mildly, excited 3 year old big brother.  I have been busy at the hospital and with Лука, and I am tired again. I will be going home to MO soon so I have to get my grandma time in while I can.  It is hard to imagine leaving them both now but since Baba is here from Serbia we are going to head back to MO for a bit, then come back to finish the house and packing at the end of March when she goes back to Serbia.  Grandpa Bankerchick will be here at the end of the week to get an introduction to Caшa.
