2) He was notorious for leaving his famous first wife for his very famous second wife. Can you name either of the women involved in this Hollywood scandal? Debbie Reynolds and Liz Taylor..Big scandal at the time. They didn't stay together too long once Richard Burton came along. When Angelina Jolie snagged Brad Pitt, it reminded me of it. Especially when they painted 'poor' Jennifer Anniston in the 'poor' Debbie roll.
3) His oldest daughter, Carrie Fisher, is best known as Princess Leia from Star Wars. Are you a sci-fi fan? Oh yes, I love Sci-Fi especially with the special effects that a possible now. I always liked that mankind had improved so much in the Star Trek world. I would go to Mars to live, if I could take my dogs.

6) Sam's father is a voracious reader. So much so that the local librarian knows him on sight and by name. How often do you visit your neighborhood library? I am a kindle user and haven't been to the library in a long time. Our closest library is a refurbished Carnegie Library.

Mr BC is trying to think of a good name for the '61 TR-3 he is finally having restored. Mr BC names all of our cars

ReplyDeleteI always loved the Star Trek world, too. People weren't interested in stuff, they were interested in self-exploration as well as universal exploration. It was about the learning and living, not the acquiring and commercialism. I don't think that world will ever be, though.

ReplyDeleteI like Marshalls and TJ Maxx but we don't have a TJ Maxx very close so I go to Marshalls more. The juice and pop sounds like a good summer drink.
ReplyDeleteI picked Butter Rum, too. I don't know why; it just sounded good. I don't know if I've ever been in a TJ Maxx but I'm seeing it in a lot of folks' answers this week> Guess I better check it out!
