1.  Do you remember your first day of school?
I remember it because Mom took a home movie (Film, 1952) of the occasion.  She always made a plaid dress for the occasion and I carried on the tradition for my girls by sending them off to the primary grades in plaid.

Beary Sick

This has not been a great visit.  I have been helping DD1 with sick kids and GROWN-UPS.  I am the last one to fall and next week everyone is going to be up and about.....but not grandma. This bug has fever attached to it and gets better then you get down again.  I know what to expect but it is a bummer.  I started my SUNDAY STEALING this morning....then deleted it.  The cough is getting me down and the questions were dumb! I am sick......and those little gremlins will be better next week.

1.  My oldest daughter has returned to college for her second year. Could I get you to give her some good wishes here? Please? To Patrice's DD1, Have a happy, productive year in your second year of college.  My DD1 went off to UCSB and the weather was so nice that she only came home for holidays.  She got jobs in Santa Barbara for summer breaks and never came home to live again.  I am currently spending the next 2 weeks in SB visiting now.  She has married and has 2 boys.  So go home when you are finished.

1.  Do you have any type of air cleaner in your home?
Just the filter on the air conditioner.  I use to have a couple of ionizers, but even though it collected gunk on the bars...I never thought the air was that much cleaner.  I always have the air humidifier going in the winter around here.  That really does make a difference.

I am sure that it was my daughter's wedding in, I think 2006, I can't remember dates any more. I wrote a little about it here...... in verse.  We did it ourselves and it was beautiful.

1.  Have you ever baked bread from scratch?

Yes, when we lived in Michigan, when the girls were little, I tried my hand at baking bread.  It was so delicious that it was gone before the next day.  It seemed too expensive to bake instead of buying so it eventually went the way of all expensive activities.
