1. Have you ever baked bread from scratch?
Yes, when we lived in Michigan, when the girls were little, I tried my hand at baking bread. It was so delicious that it was gone before the next day. It seemed too expensive to bake instead of buying so it eventually went the way of all expensive activities.
2. If we decided to have lunch on the porch, and you so kindly volunteered to fix it (thank you). What would you serve?
Monte Cristo Sandwiches
Salad
Ice Tea
Strawberries and Ice Cream
3. Show us, or tell us about your key chain ( the thing you have on your car or house keys).
I have the key chain below with a Welsh Corgi on it. I also have a whistle on it that was on my mom's key chain.
4. Have you ever tried a challenging or dangerous sport? No. I don't mean rush hour traffic, but I understand the confusion. :)
I tried golf when I was in college. But it was too challenging for me, I couldn't get it right. I was all over the place.
5. Have you ever written poetry? If not, have you ever had anyone write a poem for you? If you aren't happy with this question, we'll even accept a "Roses are red..." poem.

I have some free verse in various places on my blog. My favorite is a limerick I wrote about my grandsons for a challenge.
The grandsons are such a delight
To me they do everything right
The boys they do rock
The playroom’s a shock
I love that limerick!
ReplyDeleteI tried my hand at baking bread, but I am the only one who ate it, and my weight became even more of a problem.
I like to quote Mark Twain about golf - he calls it a good walk spoiled.
ReplyDeleteVery cute limerick!! :)
ReplyDeleteCute limerick! Nothing like grand kids! Monte Cristo Sandwich sounds might good. I just might swing over and join you. lolol. Thanks for stopping by, I am in Willard just outside of Springfield.

ReplyDeleteThat is definitely the problem with homemade bread...I don't eat as much of the store bought kind. :). Love monte cristos too...when should I be over for lunch?
ReplyDeleteGreat limerick. I never could master them.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your poem. Lunch sounds wonderful! I found that I gained a bit of weight when I baked bread all the time. Such risks we must take!
