Name Your Favorite…

Place-City: London, Place of Comfort: My chair with the dogs piled on me.

Person(s)-My grandsons, they make me laugh every time I see them.

Color-I wear a lot of blue.  My favorite color to have around me is turquoise.

Food-Comfort foods like Mac and Cheese.

Smell-Citrus and Thierry Mugler's Angel Perfume.

Book- The Princess Bride by Wm Goldman. I think the book is almost funnier than the movie.

Movie-The Big Chill, it reminds me of my early 20 somethings and the music is wonderful.

Music artist- Eric Clapton

Thing to do when bored-I'm ashamed to say I will turn the computer back on.

Genre of literature-Historical Fiction

Magazine-Country Living, although I have let all my magazine subscription expire as I can't read them comfortably and I can keep up on the computer or my Kindle and adjust the font.

Texture-I have a hoodie that has the softest fleece lining, I wear it and wash it and it gets softer.

Time of day-Bed time.

Day of the week-Sunday nights for Masterpiece Theater.

Thing to learn about-More about photography for my travels.  I think I am going to take over the camera.

Thing about yourself-My ability to see things from many perspectives, but it can make it hard to make decisions sometimes.

Lifehack (a time saving, efficiency technique for life)-I have dozens I get from Pinterest. 1. Simply put a glass of water in your microwave and heat for about one minute (This should make the inside of the microwave steamy)
2. Let the glass sit in the microwave for about 20 minutes with the door closed. (The moisture condensing on the walls will soften the food residue).
3. Wipe off the residue with a sponge or paper towel.

  1. Pinterest is awesome for finding lifehacks! I have tons of them pinned....just don't ask how many I've actually put into practice. lol

  2. I've just started to wander into Pinterest. But it is an amazing place to behold! Easy to see why people like it so. The grandkids are so tall! Very cute picture. And Princess Bride the book and the movie are both great. Buttercup's

  3. Paperclips on the tape! What a great suggestion.

  4. Holy cow! The paper clip on the tape is BRILLIANT!

  5. I drink a small bottle of water every morning, it doesn't always help... smiles.

When using tape from a roll I lift the end slightly so there's always a tiny bit sticking up.

I think a lot of people cure boredom by using the computer!!

  6. Oh yes turn on the computer when bored I do that too!
