6....1945 Adolf Hitler marries his long-time partner Eva Braun in a Berlin bunker and designates Admiral Karl Donitz as his successor.

7....1945 The Dachau concentration camp is liberated by United States troops.

8....1954 Jerry Seinfeld, American comedian was born.

9....1995 Kitchener Ontario - Butchers finish making the world's longest sausage, with a length of 28.77 miles.

10....1997 A worldwide treaty to ban chemical weapons went into effect.

11...1999 Avala TV Tower near Belgrade was destroyed in NATO bombing of Serbia.

12...It's Greenery Day in Japan.

13...It's the anniversary of the day, Mr Bankerchick met moi! Celebrated by lovers everywhere.He always remembers it with a little surprise. This year it was tickets to Praire Home Companion.
