Silver Dollar City Lights

Our dear friends Maggie and Jigs took us to Silver Dollar City, in Branson, on Thursday for a the Light Show and Christmas celebration.  We had a lovely day for it and as usual had a great time with them.  The City was alight with over four million tiny lights and once night fell it was spectacular.  We went early in the day and saw a couple of shows and took the railroad ride around the park.

This year there was a new show, which was a musical of It's a Wonderful Life.  It was a sweet show with some familar tunes and new music and was very professionaly done. There was also a musical version of Dickens, Christmas Carol, that is done every year in the Oprey House.  We weren't able to get in for that but it looked interesting.  We were able to get into the Frontier Fa-La-La FoLLies in the saloon, it was audience participation and a lot of fun.

  1. Seems like there was a lot going on. I love it when they have audience participation.
