The ABC'S of Me-Sunday Stealing

Massive Alphabet Meme, part one

The Letter A
Are you agnostic?
I probably fall within the definition of a pragmatic agnostic. The view that there is no proof of either the existence or nonexistence of any deity, but since any deity that may exist appears unconcerned for the universe or the welfare of its inhabitants, the question is largely academic. I prefer to believe that I am a humanist.
What is your age?
I turned 66 last Thursday.
What annoys you?
So many things....mainly the daily news.

Sunday Stealing-Collapse

This week's questions come from FoxyDanish but she didn't say where she got it. It was labled COLLAPSE but I am not sure why.

Have you ever clicked on an ad on the side of your screen by accident?: All the time.  My computer is very wonky and when I click on a link in google, I sometimes get some advertising spot and not the place I want. I need to have it serviced.

When was the last time you were disappointed?: Nothing comes to mind right now. I guess that we haven't traveled as much as we wanted to in retirement.

Do you like the smell of rain?: I love the smell of rain and of the air in general, moving from CA to MO has made a real change in air quality, I love to drink in a sunny day.

What was the last thing you took a picture of?: My Furbabies.

When you go to McDonald's, what drink do you usually get?: I love their iced coffee.  It stays strong to the very last sip.

What were you doing today at 2:15 in the afternoon?: Yesterday, I was doing laundry, so I could change the sheets.  I have an 800 thread count set of sheets that I love so I take them off, wash them and make the bed right away.

What's the nickname of your home state?: The Show Me State.

Currently-MamaKat's

Reading: I like to spend the summer reading Austen, as she only has about 6 Novels I sometimes branch out into Austen Fan Fiction Sequels. I am wondering if playing the Austen Unbound game on Facebook is the same as reading Austen?   I am currently reading Fanny Burney's Camellia.  Burney is somewhat of a contemporary  of  Austen.  I have read her before and while I like Austen better, their styles are similar.  She writes satirically about England's upper classes.
I am also on a bit of a doomsday kink and I am reading Breakdown. by Katherine Amt Hanna, about a flu pandemic.

Dedicated to the One I Love-Saturday 9

THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS
Thanks to Diana for recommending the Mamas and the Papas. (You can listen to the song here.)

1) The lyrics include the line, "Love can never be exactly what we want it to be." Are you happy with your love life?
Sure, we are coming up on 46 years together so I think we're pretty happy.

2) Another lyric is, "Each night before you go to bed, whisper a little prayer for me." Do you say your prayers?
Every so often I shout a plea of some kind, heavenward but I don't pray religiously.

Crystal Bridges

Small Bentonville, Arkansas, has a jewel of an art museum.  Alice Walton and other benefactors have created Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art  in Walmart's Ozark hometown.  It is a lovely museum, right sized for a single visit or dozens of return visits.... as certainly we shall return as often as we can, as it is only a few hours from the Joplin area, where we live.  I believe the setting will be beautiful in the cooler fall months. This was the highlight of a mini-break we took to the Arkansas Ozarks I wrote about here.
