Where is my Flying Car, at the Very Least? Trifextra

The Trifextra prompt for this week is 33 words:
It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.” ― Paulo Coelho, Alchemist

Perhaps for  My Grandsons

She dreamed of dancing to the stars
To  see worlds in galaxies afar.
So much promised
In her youth.
The millennium and proof
Of life nearby.
The dream is gone, but not forever.

  4. This is great! One of my fondest dreams as a child was to be abducted by aliens and taken on a tour of the universe. Love the hint of hope in the last line. Well done!

  5. It's sad that our space program stalled. Perhaps in the future it will become dominant again. (I never wanted to go into space - too scary - but I had friends who that that would be the best ride ever!)

  11. Those childhood dreams are always so misleading. Then again, with technology moving in leaps and bounds, her dream could very well come true. Lovely post!
