The Wish List Meme, Part 1
1.) What are 3 things on your Wish list and why?
Wood work painted.
Wall paper removed.
Kitchen update.

2.) What do you miss about your childhood?
I posted about my Carefree neighborhood here.

3.) What do you do on your spare time on the weekends?
We either stay home or visit friends.  We are retired so there is really no more weekends.  We try not to do anything such as shopping or do the amusement/tourist things on weekends when it might be more crowded.

4.) What do you appreciate most in your life?
My husband, my family and friends and the dogs.

5.) Would you rather be rich or healthy?
I think healthy.  At my age, if I am not healthy, there would be no reason to be rich, other than to pay the medical bills.

6.) If you could go back in time would you and why?
I don't think so.   I would probably tamper with the timeline.

7.) Favorite game as a child?
I loved playing cards and board games with my friends.  One summer our neighbor had a 15 year old niece come for a visit, when I was 12 or 13, we played Canasta and went to  movies all summer long.  It was wonderful.

8.) What is your dream career?
Career?  I think I need to find the dream retirement.  Travel.

Ross and TJ Maxx

11.) What TV shows can't you live without?
Hah! Since we moved to MO and gone back to very basic cable (20 channels), I can live without all kinds of cable TV.  With internet TV we really do watch what we want and it still include a pay per view on Amazon Prime. I wouldn't be able to do without Netflix and Hulu.  I love the Big Bang Theory, Downton Abbey and

Modern Family.

12.) 3 things you need in your life are:
Peanut Butter
My Computer
A cup of coffee in the morning

13.) What can't you sleep without?
My gel/memory foam mattress and the new $30 pillows, air conditioning in summer.

Emma, in the movie of the same name, by Jane Austen, she was slightly shallow and silly but she was the most affluent of all Austen's characters and led an interesting life and grew up by the end of the movie.

19.) Favorite vegetable?
There is no such thing as a favorite vegetable.  I eat them sparingly. I have to be very careful around the grandsons.

20.) Favorite Fruit?
Crisp apples, grapes, and kiwi.

21.) If you had a dragon what would you name it?
Sparky

  2. I'm trying to convince my husband to drop the expensive cable package and just use Hulu and Netflix. I'll have to check out the pay per view on Amazon Prime. He could watch TV 24 hrs a day. Such a waste of time.
